“SAMARKAND SPRING SCHOOL OF YOUNG PSYCHIATERS”, EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE WORLD PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATION
According to the action plan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbekistan Psychiatric Association on April 9-12, 2020, the first Samarkand spring school of young psychiatrists will be held in Samarkand in the framework of the scientific and educational project of the Uzbekistan Psychiatric Association.

Actual issues of diagnosis and treatment:
- Schizophrenia and BAR
- Affective Disorders
- Childhood Mental Disorders
- Mental disorders in somatic pathology
- Problems of alcoholism and drug addiction
- Psychopharmacotherapy issues
- Issues of organizing psychiatric care
Within the framework of the School, it is planned to conduct educational lectures by leading psychiatrists of Uzbekistan, near and far abroad, supported by the World Psychiatric Association. Seminars, round tables and satellite symposia will be held under the guidance and participation of major scientists in the field of mental health.
Young specialists, psychiatrists and narcologists, under the age of 40 years and with at least one year of experience, are invited to participate in the work of the School. Knowledge of English is a plus.
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SCHOOL IT IS NECESSARY:

RULES FOR DRAWING THE THESES:
Margins – top 3 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 2 cm
1 line – heading – arial style, 12 pt, bold, all capital letters, centered, 1.5 interval;
2nd line – initials and surnames of all authors – arial style, 12 pt, simple, in the center, 1.5 interval;
3 line – institution, city – arial style, 12 pt, simple, in the center, 1.5 interval;
The abstract itself is a times new roman style, 12 pt, simple, left-aligned, indented, 1.0 spacing.
To structure the text on introduction, purpose, material and methods, results and conclusion.
Include digital material from original research.
Indicate the scientific topic on which abstracts are submitted, as well as the form of participation: abstracts, as a listener.
Do not use figures, diagrams and tables, as well as links to authors after the text.
The total amount of text is not more than 1 page.
The official languages of the school: Russian, Uzbek, English.
No more than 3 abstracts are accepted from one author.
Attention! Scientific papers not compiled in accordance with these rules will not be considered for participation in the School and further publication.
Selected abstracts will be published in the collection of materials of the School, which will be posted on the website of the Association of Psychiatrists of Uzbekistan. Publication is free.
Deadline for abstract submission: January 10, 2020
Participation of students in all lectures, seminars and other educational activities of the School for registered participants is free
The Association of Psychiatrists of Uzbekistan assumes the costs of three meals a day for registered participants (carried out at the Kamila Hotel)
All other expenses associated with participation in the School, including transfer to the venue, accommodation and accommodation are organized and carried out by the participants of the School.
COMPETITION OF SCIENTIFIC WORKS:
The authors of the top ten selected by the jury at the preliminary (distance) stage of work will be given the opportunity to deliver a 5-minute report to the participants of the School. The winners of the three best works (theses) will be given the opportunity to speak in the finals of the School Competition with the right to publish the 3 best works in the journal named after P. B. Gannushkina (Russian Federation).
The winners will be given the opportunity to stay for free at the Kamila Hotel for the entire duration of the School, they will receive books by lecturers autographed by the authors.
